Women's Ministry

 

  • Young Women Christian Council-The Young Women Christian Council is to educate women through biblical principles, and to equip them spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Proverbs 31:29-30, "Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised."

  • Christian Women Council-The Christian Women Council consists of promoting the values of living a holy lifestyle. They are to mentor the young women, be a prayer partner with the young women, be involved in the community and be a Christian role model according to the Word of God. Titus 2:3-5, "The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.".

 

Men's Ministry- The Men's ministry is to fellowship, pray, and encourage one another from the Word of God; cultivating Godly men to become better servants, husbands, fathers, and role-models. Judges 6:12, "And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour."

 

Usher Board- The Usher Board department is to keep order during the services, directing the congregation to their seats, and dispersing all approved literature including tithe and offering envelopes. Psalm 84:10, "I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness."

 

Hospitality-The Hospitality provides aid and care of the pastor and his guests. Romans 12:13, "Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality."

 

Pastor’s Aid-The Pastor's Aide committee serves as a spiritual, financial and emotional support system for the pastor, as well as his family. Working as a pastor's aide committee member requires the highest level of confidentiality. I Timothy 5:17-18 “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.”

 

Public Relations-The Public Relations ministry serves as the main voice of the church, sharing information with the community about the organization’s mission, needs, and activities. Through the use of media. Psalm 68:11, "The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it."

Music Ministry-The Music Ministry consists of members who are aware of their position as being a minstrel Levite. It is suggested that the individual have a personal relationship with Christ. This is a ministry through the use of music and songs. Members are to be in attendance at scheduled rehearsals, and are required to be present for Sunday services along with any special services that are to be held. Psalm 95:1-2, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms."

 

  • Sanctuary Choir – Ages 13 and up. Auditions are required

  • Youth Choir – Ages 12 to 19

  • Children’s Choir – Ages 1 to 11

 

Youth Ministry- The Youth Ministry helps train, educate, and inspire youth to develop spiritually and be productive for the Kingdom of God. Ecclesiastes 12:1a, "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth."

Evangelism/Outreach- The purpose of the Evangelism/Outreach Ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet; through personal witnessing, and sharing the Word of God.  To provide spiritual, educational, and social events and activities throughout the community that will promote Godly relationships.  To equip individuals to serve one another; first within their families, communities, our nation, and throughout the world. Matthew 28: 18-20, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
 

Visitation Ministry- The Visitation Ministry team exist for the purpose of extending the compassion of Jesus Christ to those who are hospitalized, confined in their homes or otherwise detained. Matthew 25:35-36, “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”
